Dolcymerau is set at the entrance to two enchanting valleys, Cwm Bychan, with its tranquil lake leads to the Roman Steps. Lots of gentle rambles and woodland walks begin just above the cottage - the waterfall and nature trail is very special and there are fabulous views from the plateau above the waterfall across to Shell Island, Tremadog Bay and Lleyn Peninsula.

Miller's offers one downstairs double bedroom with en-suite shower room. The lounge area has French doors leading out onto private decked area with mountain views. Upstairs offers two twin rooms and a family bathroom. Downstairs features an open plan living area with a farm style kitchen, modern appliances and a dining table seating up to six. The lounge has a comfortable modern leather suite offering a TV/DVD & Basic Sky Package and a Wood Burning Stove.

One of the most stunning historic attractions in the area is Harlech's magnificent thirteenth century Castle, now part of the "Castles and Town Walls of King Edward in Harlech, Beaumaris, Caernarfon and Conwy (Gwynedd)" World heritage site; reflecting both it's historical importance and remarkable state of preservation.

Built King Edward I during his conquest of Wales, it is notable for it's massive gatehouse, seizure by Owain Glyndŵr in 1404, and the seven year long siege during the Wars of the Roses chronicled in the famous Welsh anthem "Men of Harlech".
